CODAR es una organización de rescate de animales totalmente voluntaria con sede en el centro de Nueva Jersey. Nuestra misión es rescatar perros y cachorros de refugios con altas tasas de mortalidad y colocarlos en nuestra red de cuidados de crianza hasta que se encuentre un hogar permanente. Dependemos de donaciones del público en general para poder operar. Nuestra concentración en la concientización es muy importante, ya que nos damos cuenta de que es clave para evitar que millones de mascotas sean sacrificadas cada año. CODAR fue fundamental para ayudar a los residentes del área con asistencia para mascotas debido a la devastación del huracán Sandy en octubre de 2012. Brindamos cuidado de crianza a los residentes que requerían colocación temporal para sus mascotas y ofrecimos nuestra asistencia para recolectar y distribuir suministros a los residentes y sus animales de compañía. quienes fueron afectados por la tormenta.
