Companion Cats, Inc. es una organización 501c3 con la misión de esterilizar y castrar tantos gatos sin dueño como sea posible en nuestra comunidad, poniendo fin al sufrimiento de los gatos abandonados y sin hogar que viven en las calles. Durante los últimos nueve años, Companion Cats ha operado una clínica de esterilización/castración gratuita o de bajo costo que presta servicios en 21 ciudades, pueblos y zonas rurales. Una vez esterilizados nuestro objetivo es colocar a los gatos en el entorno que mejor se adapte a cada gato. Este método proporciona la situación de vida más humana posible. Si el gato no es muy amigable pero no tiene hogar, quizás esto signifique ser un Barn Buddy o ser introducido en una colonia controlada. Si se encuentran gatitos salvajes, podría significar vivir en un hogar de acogida voluntario donde puedan socializarse hasta que tengan la edad suficiente para ser esterilizados, castrados y vacunados antes de su adopción. Iniciar un programa TNR en todo el condado es nuestro proyecto más reciente.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
