English Springer Rescue America, Inc. is a partner of Best Friends, working together to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country

The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.

The NKLA Coalition, led by Best Friends, is at the heart of lifesaving in Los Angeles. Coalition members can receive grants, connect and collaborate with other organizations to help further their work, participate in adoption and fundraising events, take part in mentorship and training opportunities, and more.

English Springer Rescue America (ESRA) es una organización nacional de voluntarios dedicada al rescate, la rehabilitación y la reubicación de Springer Spaniels Ingleses. Fundada en 1999, ESRA es un recurso vital para los Springer Spaniels, brindándoles una segunda oportunidad. ESRA brinda atención a perros abandonados, maltratados o desatendidos, en colaboración con 250 sociedades humanitarias, refugios y centros de control animal en 37 estados. ESRA rescata Springer Spaniels de nuestros socios comunitarios o de dueños que no pueden cuidarlos. ESRA depende completamente de donaciones y el 90% de nuestros gastos se destina al cuidado de los perros. Al ingresar, cada Springer Spaniel se somete a una evaluación veterinaria inmediata, recibe las vacunas y el tratamiento necesarios. Todos nuestros Springer Spaniels son microchipados y esterilizados antes de su adopción. El costo promedio es de $454 por perro. En 2024, se rescataron 605 Springer Spaniels y se realizaron 486 adopciones gracias a la dedicación de nuestros 2,000 voluntarios y 1,300 hogares de acogida. Los Springers mayores (de 7 años o más) suelen requerir atención médica adicional para tratar problemas como enfermedades dentales, infecciones crónicas de oído y tumores mamarios. En 2024, la atención médica para 44 Springers mayores costó $110,817. El número de perros mayores rescatados por ESRA sigue aumentando, no solo por las limitaciones económicas o los cambios en el estilo de vida de sus dueños, sino también cuando un dueño mayor no puede cuidar físicamente de su Springer. Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill in 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

The NKLA Coalition is comprised of dozens of shelters and animal welfare groups in the Los Angeles area, all working to save the lives of pets in the region. 

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
