Atendemos a personas mayores, personas sin hogar, personas de bajos ingresos y personas confinadas en sus hogares en Long Beach y sus alrededores, quienes de otra manera no tendrían los medios suficientes para cuidar adecuadamente a sus mascotas. La esterilización y castración ahora es obligatoria en Long Beach debido a la sobrepoblación de los refugios debido a la gran cantidad de cachorros y gatitos no deseados en las instalaciones, lo que lleva a la eutanasia de muchos de ellos. Fix Long Beach es una iniciativa totalmente voluntaria destinada a mitigar estas cifras. Hemos sido reconocidos por el refugio de Long Beach y varios miembros del ayuntamiento por esterilizar a más de 5,000 mascotas y haber contribuido a una disminución del 70% en las cifras de eutanasia. Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
