Rescue Village es una instalación de estadía prolongada donde todos los animales sanos, médicamente tratables o conductualmente tratables se dan en adopción. Mientras están en Rescue Village, los animales bajo nuestra custodia reciben la mejor atención por parte de nuestro personal médico y del refugio profesional. Se les alimenta con alimentos nutritivos y reciben alojamiento confortable. Son ejercidos y socializados por un gran grupo de voluntarios. Los animales no son sacrificados por tiempo o espacio. Empleamos a dos veterinarios a tiempo parcial, un técnico veterinario y un asistente clínico a tiempo parcial que atienden las necesidades médicas de nuestros animales, realizan evaluaciones de salud y vacunas al momento de la admisión, y brindan atención médica y cirugía continua. Geauga Humane Society se enorgullece de ser líder en el campo del bienestar animal al ofrecer refugio y cuidado a animales cuyo destino final sería un sufrimiento físico y psicológico innecesario. Declaración de misión: albergar y encontrar hogares para animales domésticos enfermos, heridos, maltratados y abandonados que no tienen otras alternativas; fomentar la compasión por todos los seres vivos a través de la educación; reducir la sobrepoblación de mascotas a través de programas de esterilización/castración, y; Prevenir la crueldad defendiendo y haciendo cumplir las leyes de protección animal.
