Give a Dog a Home, German Shepherd Dog Rescue, fundada el 14 de febrero de 2011, es una organización sin fines de lucro, exenta de impuestos federales 501c y con licencia del estado de Maine, dedicada a la no-sacrificación de perros voluntarios, con sede en Sebec, Maine. Dirigida íntegramente por voluntarios que comparten compasión, dedicación y compromiso, donando su tiempo y recursos para ayudar a salvar las vidas de muchos perros necesitados. Nos dedicamos a rescatar perros, principalmente de refugios urbanos con alta tasa de sacrificio en Texas, donde abundan perros callejeros, maltratados y abandonados que necesitan nuestra ayuda. Tras un examen veterinario y la emisión de un certificado de salud, son transportados por empresas aprobadas por el Departamento de Transporte (DOT) a centros de rescate y hogares de acogida en Maine, donde hay numerosas familias en toda la costa este y Canadá deseosas de adoptar.
