Fundada en 1971, somos una organización de rescate de animales 501(c)3 sin sacrificio, dirigida íntegramente por voluntarios y financiada por donantes individuales, ya que no recibimos fondos gubernamentales. Contamos con un refugio para gatos sin jaulas, así como un refugio para perros con amplios espacios al aire libre. Nuestra misión es encontrar adoptantes cariñosos para animales huérfanos, maltratados y abandonados. También mantenemos listas de animales y mascotas perdidos y encontrados que necesitan un nuevo hogar en el condado de Tuscaloosa. Contribuimos al cuidado humanitario de los animales y al cuidado adecuado de las mascotas mediante la educación en la comunidad.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
