La misión del Centro de Control de Animales de Lafayette Parish es proteger la salud y la seguridad de nuestros residentes, y proteger a los animales y promover su trato humano. El Alcalde-Presidente del Gobierno Consolidado de Lafayette y el Centro de Control de Animales están comprometidos a avanzar para convertirse en un Refugio No Kill, y están haciendo todo lo posible para promover la adopción de animales sanos y no agresivos por parte del público en general. Nuestra misión es trabajar con nuestros socios de rescate sin fines de lucro y continuar buscando nuevos socios en todo el país para rescatar a nuestros animales. Estamos en el proceso de cambiar nuestras ordenanzas para iniciar un componente de retorno, castración y captura para los gatos de nuestra comunidad.

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill by 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
