La misión de la Unidad de Servicios para Animales de la Oficina del Sheriff del Condado de New Hanover es proteger al público de la amenaza de exposición al virus de la rabia y garantizar el cuidado adecuado de los animales, a través de la prevención, la percepción pública y la educación.
