From Rancho Coastal Humane Society

Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) fue formada en 1960 por un grupo de voluntarios trabajadores, dirigidos por la amante de los animales Maria K. Lloyd. El objetivo era y sigue siendo cuidar de la población de animales sin hogar del condado de San Diego y educar al público sobre la sobrepoblación de mascotas y el cuidado responsable de los animales de compañía. RCHS brinda atención en refugios de calidad, servicios de adopción, programas educativos y un programa de refugio de animales para sobrevivientes de violencia doméstica. Uno de los principales objetivos de RCHS es la adopción de animales en hogares permanentes y amorosos. El proceso de adopción de RCHS está diseñado para encontrar la mejor combinación entre mascotas y personas. Después de encontrar la pareja perfecta, ayudamos a los posibles adoptantes a aprender sobre el cuidado de la salud, los requisitos nutricionales, el aseo, el ejercicio, la tenencia responsable de mascotas, la socialización y la importancia del vínculo entre humanos y animales.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
