La misión de Refurbished Pets del Sur de Michigan es ayudar a los animales abandonados, entregados y sin hogar. Nos impulsa la obligación moral de mantener o restaurar una calidad de vida saludable, brindándoles rescate y colocándolos legalmente en hogares temporales aprobados, adecuados y seguros, o en hogares permanentes. Además, educamos al público sobre programas de rescate, tenencia responsable de perros y la sobrepoblación de mascotas. Brindamos a los reclusos con verificación de seguridad la oportunidad de entrenar a estos perros. En conjunto, constituimos una forma de rehabilitación para que ambos se reintegren a la sociedad como miembros productivos, con el ánimo de aportar cualidades positivas a la vida de los demás. Hacemos esto como un vehículo para mejorar la vida de los animales y las familias de nuestra comunidad, trabajando con agencias gubernamentales y refugios de animales en comunidades y estados vecinos.

Best Friends Animal Society works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill in 2025.
The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
