From Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue

Shenandoah Shepherd Rescue (SSR) es un rescate 501c3 totalmente voluntario centrado principalmente en el rescate de perros pastor alemán/mezcla de pastor. Nuestra base está en el valle de Shenandoah en Virginia, pero ampliamos nuestro alcance y trabajamos para salvar a los perros pastores alemanes en áreas densamente pobladas de todo el país, principalmente en el sur de Texas. Si bien nuestro rescate es una organización joven (fundada en enero de 2017), nuestros voluntarios han estado rescatando pastores alemanes durante muchos años. Nuestra esperanza es rescatar, rehabilitar y realojar a cada pastor alemán que lo necesite. Después de años de dedicar nuestras vidas a otros rescates de pastores alemanes, decidimos aventurarnos en nuestro propio rescate para ampliar nuestro alcance a territorios descubiertos por nuestro rescate actual. Tenemos una gran pasión por ayudar a la raza, pero nos gustaría extender una mano amiga a los distintos pastores necesitados: Shiloh, holandés, belga, etc. También nos apasiona mucho tratar de ayudar a rescatar perros en la costa oeste y el sur. estados, donde hay más perros muriendo en refugios que rescates para seguirles el ritmo. SSR promueve la esterilización/castración y la vacunación como una forma de reducir la población y las enfermedades entre estos perros.

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill by 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
