The Best Friends Network is made up of thousands of public and private shelters, rescue groups, spay/neuter organizations, and other animal welfare groups — all working to save the lives of dogs and cats in communities like yours across the country.
The NKLA Coalition, led by Best Friends, is at the heart of lifesaving in Los Angeles. Coalition members can receive grants, connect and collaborate with other organizations to help further their work, participate in adoption and fundraising events, take part in mentorship and training opportunities, and more.

Smiley Tails Rescue es una organización 501(c)(3) sin fines de lucro fundada en 2019 por tres locas de los perros que comparten la misma pasión y visión para acabar con el problema de los animales sin hogar en el sur de California. Reubicamos a perros de todas las edades y razas en refugios con muchas muertes y situaciones de alto riesgo. Tenemos un estricto proceso de selección que implica solicitudes exhaustivas, entrevistas y controles del hogar. Smiley Tails se basa en hogares de acogida, está gestionado por voluntarios y financiado por donantes. Todas las donaciones se destinan a esterilización/castración, vacunas, microchips, atención y capacitación veterinaria y quirúrgica. Ofrecemos adopciones basadas en citas además de nuestros eventos de adopción mensuales. Nuestra visión es Limpiar los Refugios hasta que no quede ningún animal sin un hogar al que llamar suyo.

The NKLA Coalition is comprised of dozens of shelters and animal welfare groups in the Los Angeles area, all working to save the lives of pets in the region.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
