From Tails From The City
Tails From The City es un rescate voluntario, sin fines de lucro y que no mata, que se formó en 2011 cuando un grupo de conocidos respondió a una llamada de ayuda con una situación de acaparamiento. Más de 100 gatos fueron rescatados y llevados a nuestro refugio adquirido apresuradamente ubicado en el lado oeste cercano de Cleveland, Ohio. La mayoría de los gatos originales han encontrado un hogar, pero vimos la necesidad en la comunidad de continuar rescatando gatos/gatitos, ¡así que actualizamos nuestras instalaciones para poder seguir ayudando más! En 2018 , abrimos un centro de actividades y adopción en North Olmsted, Ohio. Best Friends Animal Society works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill by 2025.
The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
