El refugio se fundó con el ideal de que queríamos brindar el mejor cuidado posible a los animales en nuestras instalaciones, sin importar cuán corta o larga sea su estadía con nosotros. Desde el inicio de nuestro refugio, nos hemos visto a nosotros mismos como un grupo dedicado de profesionales que trabajan juntos para hacer un trabajo excelente para los animales, los ciudadanos y la profesión. Nuestro objetivo todos los días es disminuir la eutanasia reduciendo la sobrepoblación de mascotas a través de la divulgación pública, la educación humana, el marketing/publicidad, un programa eficaz de esterilización/castración y programas eficaces de crianza y adopción.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
