From Vegas Pet Rescue Project
Nuestro sueño en Vegas Pet Rescue Project es impactar positivamente a las mascotas sin hogar, maltratadas y abandonadas de Las Vegas que abruman nuestro sistema de refugios dándoles una nueva oportunidad de VIDA. Nuestro enfoque principal será ayudar a los refugios de animales locales (Animal Foundation y Henderson Shelter) con las mascotas a las que se les ha dado un tiempo limitado para ser adoptadas antes de que sean retiradas del sistema de refugios debido a una multitud de razones. Lograremos este objetivo a través de nuestra extensa red de familias de acogida, donaciones y patrocinadores. También nos gustaría ayudar a financiar programas de esterilización y castración para ayudar a las familias de bajos ingresos a ser dueños responsables de mascotas y disminuir los problemas de superpoblación que enfrentamos en Las Vegas. También creemos que es importante recolectar suministros y alimentos para mascotas para los rescates locales y los buenos samaritanos de la ciudad que crían mascotas rescatadas y acogen perros callejeros. Con el tiempo, nos encantaría ayudar a crear un programa de voluntariado para investigar y acabar con la cría ilegal. Hemos estado ayudando al esfuerzo de rescate de mascotas en la ciudad durante 3 años y sentimos que recién estamos comenzando.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
