Nuestro sueño en Vegas Pet Rescue Project es impactar positivamente a las mascotas sin hogar, maltratadas y abandonadas de Las Vegas que abruman nuestro sistema de refugios, brindándoles una nueva oportunidad. Nuestro enfoque principal será ayudar a los refugios locales de animales (Animal Foundation y Henderson Shelter) con las mascotas que han tenido poco tiempo para ser adoptadas antes de ser retiradas del sistema por diversas razones. Lograremos este objetivo a través de nuestra extensa red de familias de acogida, donaciones y patrocinadores. También nos gustaría ayudar a financiar programas de esterilización y castración para ayudar a las familias de bajos recursos a ser dueños responsables de mascotas y reducir los problemas de sobrepoblación que enfrentamos en Las Vegas. También consideramos importante recolectar suministros y alimento para mascotas para los refugios locales y los Buenos Samaritanos de la ciudad que acogen mascotas rescatadas y perros callejeros. Con el tiempo, nos encantaría ayudar a crear un programa de voluntariado para investigar y erradicar la cría ilegal. Llevamos 3 años apoyando el rescate de mascotas en la ciudad y sentimos que apenas estamos comenzando.

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill in 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
