Arin Greenwood

Arin Greenwood is the Senior Strategist, Network and Advocacy Communications, for Best Friends. Arin is an animal writer who was the Huffington Post's animal welfare editor. Her stories about cats, dogs, and other critters have been published in The Washington Post, The Dodo, The American Bar Association Journal, Today.com, and many other publications. Arin is author of Your Robot Dog Will Die, a novel published by Soho Teen.  

A graduate of Columbia Law School and member of the New York bar, Arin worked as a lawyer in New York and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands before moving into journalism and animal welfare.

Arin lives with her husband and their absolutely perfect animals in St Petersburg, Florida, where she is often found walking the city, looking for dogs to pet and manatees to admire.
