Karlie Repp

Karlie is a Manager, Embed Project Operations with Best Friends Animal Society.

Before joining Best Friends, Karlie managed a dog daycare and training facility, where she developed and refined her dog‑training skills before transitioning into animal shelter operations. She dedicated much of her time to building shelter behavior programs, creating playgroup and enrichment initiatives from the ground up.

Driven by a passion for building strong, cooperative relationships between people and their pets, Karlie also launched her own business focused on post‑adoption support and training for dogs, including long‑term shelter pets.

Karlie was born and raised in Michigan, where she and her partner, Darren, live with their beloved and ever‑evolving pet family. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring nature, bowling, and reading.
