Kelsey Maccombs

Kelsey Maccombs is a Manager of Operations with the National Embed Team and currently lives in Cincinnati, OH. Prior to joining Best Friends, Kelsey most recently served as Director at Kenton County Animal Services in Covington, KY, and has held roles in Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania (go birds!), and Michigan. Having a particular passion for data and logistics, Kelsey eagerly applies this knowledge when it comes to sheltering practices. 

Kelsey grew up in Lansing, Michigan, which is still considered 'home,' makes trips there when possible, especially since the welcoming of my first niece, Morgana, in November 2024.

Kelsey’s pets include a pitbull, english bulldog, and a pug mix, and a street cat that is convinced to come inside on occasion.
