La misión del Centro de Control Animal de Alamogordo es brindar a los ciudadanos de Alamogordo un servicio de la más alta calidad para la población de mascotas mediante la defensa y el cuidado de los animales: * que se encuentran en libertad en la comunidad; *animales descuidados y abandonados en la comunidad; y *animales cuyo dueño renuncia o se entrega. AACC sirve a las mascotas y a los ciudadanos de Alamogordo alojando y poniendo animales a disposición del público para adopción, devolución a sus dueños y/o entrega a organizaciones de rescate. La AACC está comprometida con la educación pública sobre la concientización sobre las leyes y ordenanzas sobre animales, las responsabilidades de los dueños de mascotas hacia sus mascotas y la práctica adecuada del buen cuidado de los animales que garantizará la salud y el bienestar de los animales.
