Clarksdale Animal Rescue EffortShelter (CARES) es una organización sin fines de lucro 501c3 diseñada para mejorar las condiciones del refugio de nuestra comunidad y al mismo tiempo garantizar el sustento de la población de mascotas de nuestro refugio. La misión de CARES no es solo brindar un refugio seguro y encontrar hogares amorosos para estos animales, sino también promover un sentido de orgullo y propiedad en toda nuestra comunidad. CARES, junto con la gente de Clarksdale, están trabajando para hacer realidad la visión. Desde que asumió la responsabilidad del antiguo refugio de la ciudad en 2015, CARES ha trabajado incansablemente para brindar hogares amorosos a más del 95 % de los animales bajo su cuidado. En 2017, CARES se mudó a un edificio más grande y luminoso en Clarksdale que tiene el espacio para ofrecer mejores cuidado de las mascotas sin hogar del condado de Coahoma.

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill by 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
