La Forest County Humane Society ha asumido su misión de rescatar animales durante las últimas tres décadas. Somos un refugio de admisión abierta y sin matanzas. Operando desde 1996 en nuestra ubicación actual, estamos comprometidos a ser un refugio de la tormenta y un refugio seguro para todos los animales de compañía brindándoles alimento, atención médica y ternura humana. Al adoptar una postura firme contra la crueldad y el abuso animal y a través de la educación comunitaria y los servicios de adopción, continuamos enriqueciendo las vidas de los animales. Rescatamos, rehabilitamos y adoptamos todas las razas de perros y gatos. Cada animal es examinado minuciosamente por un veterinario antes de colocarlos en un hogar amoroso y todos los animales son examinados para detectar enfermedades que los afecten, como la enfermedad de Lyme, dirofilariasis, leucemia felina y otras enfermedades infecciosas o debilitantes. Están vacunados, desparasitados y esterilizados o castrados. Todos los animales son cuidados con amor hasta ser colocados en su familia "para siempre".

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
