From Furry Friends Rescue

Furry Friends Rescue (FFR) es una organización sin fines de lucro, íntegramente formada por voluntarios (hogares de acogida) en California, en el área de la Bahía de San Francisco, dedicada al rescate de animales de compañía. Está compuesta exclusivamente por voluntarios experimentados y dedicados que, en conjunto, han rescatado y acogido a más de 15,000 perros y gatos desde 1998. No tenemos oficina, refugio ni edificio. Todos los voluntarios son héroes de FosterHomes. Todos los perros y gatos rescatados (de todas las edades: desde bebés hasta adultos mayores, abandonados o maltratados, con necesidades médicas y de comportamiento, y razas) reciben cuidados, entrenamiento, alimentación holística y saludable, y atención veterinaria (modernholistic). Algunos perros y gatos mayores y con enfermedades terminales permanecen en nuestros amorosos santuarios de por vida. Una vez que están sanos, están disponibles para ser adoptados en sus hogares amorosos para siempre como un verdadero miembro de la familia. Un verdadero y preciado amigo peludo. Aceptamos a nuestros animales de por vida. También contamos con un excelente programa de Voluntariado Juvenil (de 12 a 17 años), colaboramos con muchos refugios de animales y brindamos asistencia a sus tutores (reubicación).

Who we are

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill in 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
