Heart of Texas Partners in Animal Welfare Services, mejor conocido como HOT-PAWS, es un refugio canino sin fines de lucro 501.c3, totalmente voluntario y basado en familias de acogida. Fue fundado por un grupo de personas solidarias en septiembre de 2019. HOT-PAWS trabaja para lograr el estatus de "no sacrificio" (resultados vivos para al menos el 90% de los animales acogidos) en todos los refugios y centros de rescate regionales de nuestra región del centro de Texas. Atendemos principalmente a los condados de Limestone, Freestone, Leon y Navarro, pero ocasionalmente hemos ayudado a perros de condados vecinos y de otras regiones de Texas. Con frecuencia colaboramos con otros refugios locales y regionales para rescatar a uno o más perros. ¡Creemos que las colaboraciones salvan más vidas!

Best Friends Animal Society works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill in 2025.
The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.
Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
