North Mississippi Animal Rescue (NMAR) es una organización de rescate de personas sin refugio, totalmente voluntaria y sin fines de lucro. La misión de NMAR es rescatar animales sin hogar, abandonados y entregados en el norte de Mississippi. Brindar atención y tratamiento médico, así como esterilizar/castrar a todos los animales y brindarles un hogar de acogida en el que puedan vivir hasta que puedan ser adoptados en hogares amorosos para siempre. NMAR también se esfuerza por trabajar con comunidades y organizaciones en el norte de Mississippi educando y promoviendo la importancia del cuidado adecuado de los animales y los programas de esterilización/castración para ayudar a controlar la sobrepoblación animal.
