Pets for US Heroes ofrece apoyo, compañía y beneficios terapéuticos que brinda la adopción de perros y gatos sin hogar a veteranos, agentes del orden, bomberos, paramédicos, socorristas y otras personas que trabajan en ocupaciones de alto estrés. La visión de la organización es doble: 1) Ofrecer las cualidades beneficiosas de los animales de compañía adoptados a quienes realizan ocupaciones extenuantes. 2) Reducir la cantidad de animales sin hogar brindándoles hogares amorosos. Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.
