Pittie Posse Rescue and Sanctuary tiene tres misiones: Rescate de animales: de refugios abarrotados en ciudades con alta tasa de mortalidad en todo el país (recolectando animales de lugares saturados, como el sur, entre otros), así como de perros entregados por sus dueños, casos de crueldad y confiscaciones de perros. Rehabilitación y entrenamiento de perros rescatados bajo nuestro cuidado, por lo que damos en adopción perros que ya han completado la obediencia básica. La falta de buenos modales y la dificultad para entrenar a esta raza, a menudo testaruda, es una de las principales razones por las que los perros adoptados son devueltos. Luego, colocamos cuidadosamente a los perros en hogares adoptivos amorosos. Nuestro rescate es único porque nos mantenemos en contacto con las familias adoptivas; las invitamos a un grupo privado donde pueden mantenernos informados sobre el perro, solicitar apoyo para el entrenamiento, obtener respuestas a preguntas veterinarias y compartir fotos del éxito de su nuevo cachorro. Para hacer del mundo un lugar mejor para las razas agresoras y los trabajadores de rescate que se esfuerzan al máximo para salvarlas: educar al público sobre la difícil situación de la raza y modelar la tenencia responsable de perros, incluyendo ofrecer capacitación en el lugar al público, capacitación en video, apoyo para esterilización y castración, y defensa.
