Nuestra Misión: Mejorar la calidad de vida y promover el trato responsable de todas las mascotas. Desde nuestros inicios, no sacrificamos animales; cuando otros refugios no lo hacían, nosotros sí. Nos organizamos en 1995, inicialmente como una iniciativa comunitaria en garajes y casas de voluntarios. Llevamos casi 25 años con un refugio. Nuestra capacidad habitual es de 85/100 felinos y de 20/25 caninos, ¡pero muchas veces superamos esa cifra! Ofrecemos servicios de esterilización y castración a bajo costo para el público a través de un veterinario móvil con el que nos hemos asociado. Atendemos en la zona rural del oeste de Maine, principalmente con un grupo de bajos ingresos. La población de los pueblos a los que prestamos servicio es de aproximadamente 42,000 habitantes.
