Saving Pyrs in Need, Inc., (SPIN) existe para rescatar a los Grandes Pirineos de las instalaciones de control de animales en el metroplex de Dallas/Fort Worth y otras áreas del norte de Texas, ya que hay espacio disponible en nuestros hogares de acogida. Estamos formados por todos voluntarios, que generosamente donan su tiempo, talentos y hogares (para acogida) a esta causa. Nuestros dedicados voluntarios evalúan perros en refugios, los transportan a varias clínicas veterinarias para recibir atención, brindan hogares de acogida amorosos durante el tiempo que sea necesario, procesan solicitudes de adopción, visitan a posibles adoptantes, llevan a nuestros perros a eventos públicos para obtener una mayor exposición, utilizan una amplia variedad de medios de comunicación para difundir información sobre nuestros perros disponibles para adopción y trabajar para educar al público sobre la raza de los Grandes Pirineos y sobre la necesidad de esterilizar/castrar para ayudar a reducir la cantidad de perros y gatos no deseados que terminan en refugios cada año.

Who we are

Best Friends Animal Society  works alongside thousands of animal shelters, rescue groups, and other animal welfare organizations to save the lives of cats and dogs across the country and to make the entire country no-kill by 2025.

The Best Friends Network is comprised of thousands of animal welfare groups from every single state, all working to save the lives of pets in their own communities.

Ranging from animal shelters and rescue groups to spay/neuter and trap-neuter-vaccinate-return (TNVR) organizations, they collaborate with Best Friends to save even more lives in every corner of the country.

Best Friends provides marketing help, fundraising events, webinars, grants, and other resources so that, together, we can Save Them All.
