Hey there, I’m Klide! I'm a 5-year-old brown-and-white tabby gentleman with a soft coat, a sweet soul, and excellent lounging skills. I’m officially at the perfect age: young enough to enjoy playtime and adventures, but mature enough to appreciate the important things in life… like comfy blankets, sunny windows, and uninterrupted nap schedules. I’ve traded kitten chaos for cool-cat charm, and honestly? I wear it well. I’m a friendly guy who enjoys being near my people, whether I’m helping you relax after a long day or quietly keeping watch while you go about your business. I’ve got a curious streak, a playful side, and a purr that can probably be heard from across the room when I’m happy. My hobbies include birdwatching from the window, inspecting grocery bags, politely requesting snacks, and pretending I don’t want attention right before dramatically flopping over for pets. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with equal parts sweetness, personality, and handsome tabby style, I’d love to cruise right into your heart and make myself at home. To learn more about me, email adoptions@bestfriends.org. Thanks for adopting!

About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
