Our shelter will provide a safe place for the homeless and unwanted animals of Alcorn County. We will provide food, medical attention, loving care, and a sanitary shelter for adoptable animals until we find them a home. Our vision is to end the needless killing of homeless pets and help control pet overpopulation in our community through rescue and successful spay/neuter programs.

As a licensed Illinois dog rescue serving the Chicagoland area, our primary mission is to rescue good dogs from bad situations and find them loving forever homes, providing the needed veterinary care, training and TLC along the way. Our focus has always been on rescuing Chicagoland's greatest underdogs. As a result, many of the dogs we rescue are pit bulls. However, we do occasionally rescue other breeds and we've even rescued and adopted out cats in extreme need. Our secondary mission is to keep pets out of the shelter/rescue system entirely by providing high-risk pet owners with resources that allow them to keep their pets. This includes food, veterinary care, and access to professional dog trainers. In addition, we work to educate the public about responsible dog ownership and about the breed, while advocating against dog fighting and other forms of animal cruelty.

We are a no kill animal welfare organization. Our mission is to provide and promote the programs and education necessary to eliminate the killing of homeless/unwanted animals and to prevent cruelty to animals. We operate an adoption center and fundraising thrift store. Animals in our care are cruelty confiscations or hospice patient/owner surrenders.

There are over 40,000 stray cats throughout Maui. We have created an all-volunteer robust TNRM program and have helped fix over 1700 cats. Colleton County Animal Care & Control is responsible for the care and control of homeless animals that become temporary residents of our shelter. Animal Care Officers respond to citizens' requests and complaints and will investigate questionable circumstances for animals in Colleton County, including reports of strays, abandonment or abuse.

Born Again Pit Bull Rescue (BAPBR) partners with overcrowded animal facilities to create room for more dogs in need, by matching good dogs to the families that desire them. We educate the community about the importance of giving equal treatment and opportunity for all dogs, regardless of physical appearance. We strive to instill responsible pet guardianship amongst all dog owners in the community.

(VT-CAN!) is a nonprofit, high quality, high volume, reduced cost spay/neuter clinic devoted to providing affordable spay/neuter services in order to combat pet overpopulation in Vermont. VT-CAN! works with partner humane organizations in order to help spay/neuter dogs and cats in Vermont. We provide transportation from remote areas and offer financial assistance when possible.

We work to find permanent homes for cats and kittens that have been found, abandoned, rescued or surrendered. We believe no matter the circumstance all cats deserve to be healthy happy stage and loved.

One Voice 4 Paws (OV4P) is a non-profit small dog rescue. OV4P is committed to being a voice for dogs, unwanted for any reason, and giving them a safe and loving environment.Every action taken will be in the animal's best interest.

The mission of SNIP WV is to implement procedures to reduce the overpopulation of the pet population by making spay/neuter more affordable and accessible to all. Offering low-cost option for spay/neuter helps keep animals in their homes, as well as prevent thousands of homeless animals from being born.

PALS East Bay is a nonprofit organization, that:
Supports the dog foster program at Oakland Animal Services;
Helps East Bay pet owners who have fallen on hard times keep their pets;
Supports the Rainbow Bridge Fund to help dogs at the end of their life find fospice homes (foster/hospice);
Provides support and coordination to help rescue more East Bay dogs and cats;
Advocates for best practices in animal sheltering.

The mission of North Little Rock Animal Control and North Little Rock Animal Shelter is to provide animal control services to the residents of North Little Rock. We will operate in a manner that focuses on Public Safety, Officer Safety, Proactive Enforcement of State and Local Laws, Reduction of Stray/Feral animals and to find homes for many unwanted dogs and cats through adoption and rescue.

The mission of the Whatcom Education, SpayNeuter Impact Program (WeSNIP) is to provide companion animal spay and neuter services to the low-income and working poor. We seek to do this by providing free surgeries to those on public assistance, and low-cost surgeries to clients for whom cost is a deterrent to spaying and neutering their pets.
