The Best Friends Pet Lifesaving Center in Houston is working collaboratively with area shelters, animal welfare organizations, community members, businesses, and passionate individuals like you to save lives. Yes, the Best Friends Pet Lifesaving Center in Houston is open by appointment only. Most of our adoptable pets are in foster homes throughout the Houston area, not at our facility. Our community-based sheltering model relies on foster families who open their homes to dogs and cats until they're adopted.
