Spartanburg, South Carolina 29303

We are a completely volunteer run non-profit animal rescue that began as a pair of volunteers at a high kill animal shelter in York County, South Carolina. As we branched out from walking dogs to fostering and transporting, we knew the next step would be to sponsor and rescue dogs, cats and horses. We received our 501 c3 and named it after our rescue dog Chance. Our goal is to build a network of fosters and all-around animal lovers to give the forgotten a chance for life.

Upstate Underdog Rescue
Troy, New York 12180

We believe that Every Dog Has A Superpower! Upstate Underdog Rescue is a non-breed specific rescue for at-risk dogs in the capital region of New York State. We know that good things happen for dogs at animal shelters every day, but some dogs just can't adjust to shelter life.  That's where UUR comes in! Through supported fostering and positive training, we allow dogs to decompress and expand their world at their own pace. UUR is small by design so that we can support our dogs and their families--once an Underdog, always an Underdog!
