We are located in Chicago and serve the Chicagoland area. Our animal rescue efforts focus on rescuing animals at the highest risk - "pit bull type" dogs, senior animals, animas with special needs or animals with serious medical or behavioral challenges to overcome.  Our community outreach efforts focus on keeping animals with their families and out of the shelter system through collaborative programs with other rescues and through direct owner outreach and support in our west side Chicago communities; and building a culture of compassion for all animals through youth programs and outreach.

Compassion Without Borders
Santa Rosa, California 95407

Compassion without Borders brings brighter futures to animals in need on both sides of the border. We focus our efforts where the need is the greatest, but where animals are the very least likely to be helped due to financial, geographic, and cultural barriers.  Our programs include a dog rescue program from Mexico and the Central Valley, along with free veterinary wellness and spay/neuter clinics in underserved communities on both sides of the border. We also have a humane euthanasia program in Mexico, where we are actively working to stop electrocution, a common method of killing unwanted animals south of the border.

Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue
Port Washington, New York 11050

Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue is a 501c3 registered rescue group.  Since 2005, the volunteers of SGRR rescue Golden Retrievers and Golden-hearted dogs who have been abandoned, abused or relinquished by their owners.  We are dedicated to finding the best possible homes for Golden Retrievers and Golden-hearted dogs in need.  Going one step further, SGRR often takes in dogs that might appear “less adoptable” because of the physical conditions in which they have been found.  We lovingly nurse the dogs back to health and find them homes that provide that extra TLC these dogs need.

Kindness for Cats Inc
Orlando, Florida 32803

Kindness For Cats Inc is a small 501( c )(3) nonprofit whose mission is to provide a temporary nurturing home for homeless kittens and cats and to find them loving forever homes with compassionate people. We work closely with Orange County Animal Services (OCAS) in their foster program for kittens and cats. The high number of euthanizations, deaths from illness/injury and comparatively low number of adoptions through the OCAS facility prompted the forming of this nonprofit to increase visibility for pet adoption, to educate regarding pet overpopulation and promote spay/neuter to help fight the battle against unwanted felines. We strongly promote spay/neuter to break the cycle of abandoned pet overpopulation.  We also provide information regarding responsible cat ownership.
