All of the animals are still kept in foster homes. AHS offers a spay/neuter voucher program for those who qualify.

We are a group of dedicated volunteers, working together for the benefit of helpless and homeless Eskies. Our program is funded by donations and adoption fees. Our volunteers participate in rescue work, transporting, fostering, and networking to save American Eskimo lives. If we can keep these dogs out of the shelter it makes room for another dog in need. Our rescue will cover Missouri, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky.

(“ALP”) is a 501(c)(3) all volunteer non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare of racing lurchers and greyhound mixes.  We work hard to find responsible groups and/or homes when and, if appropriate, for retired racing lurchers and greyhound mixes that have been abandoned or no longer wanted or in immediate danger of being killed.  The ALP transports lurchers to adoption groups in the United States and Canada, and provides for basic and emergency medical care, and temporary boarding.
