The Albany Humane Society is dedicated to the welfare of animals who cannot speak for themselves. If we are to continue meeting the needs of hungry, sick and homeless animals, we will need your help. We presently provide housing for the animals of Albany and Dougherty County. We accept strays turned in by concerned citizens, as well as pets surrendered by their owners.

The Pongo Fund provides quality dog and cat food for the family pets of anyone in honest need; further protecting these animals from being abandoned or surrendered simply because their families cannot afford to feed them.

One of A Kind Pet Rescue is a non-profit organization founded in November 2005 and is funded by private donations. The organization is dedicated to saving animal lives, rescuing pets in imminent danger of euthanasia, spaying/neutering, adoption, and advocacy on behalf of homeless pets.

Safe Haven Pet Sanctuary is a 501(c)3 no-kill, cage-free animal sanctuary and cat cafe that rescues animals with special needs from being euthanized in Wisconsin and surrounding areas.We accept cases of abuse, negect, FIV+, blindness, missing limbs, and other physical and psychological disabilities upon review of medical documentation. We also accept senior cats at risk for being euthanized.

National Brittany RescueAdoption Network (NBRAN) is an alliance of dedicated Brittany rescue volunteers who share a deep love for the breed and who will work to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home Brittanys in need, whether abandoned, lost, stray or surrendered to rescue for placement.

Frederick Friends of Our County Animal Shelter (FFOCAS) will support and facilitate efforts by Frederick County Division of Animal Control (FCAC) to minimize euthanasia of domesticated animals; enrich the shelter environment; and reduce length of stay, returns to shelter, and intake. We will achieve this mission primarily through fundraising, outreach, and education activities.

OBG originated in Northern Virginia in 1996 out of a concern for the number of homeless senior dogs in the area with virtually no options for being rescued. We now annually rescue and place about 300 cockers and cocker mixes of all ages in neighboring states and along the Eastern seaboard.

Cat Guardians, Inc. is a nonprofit organization designed to help the feline overpopulation and homelessness problem in DuPage County, Illinois. Cat Guardians provides proper medical, and sustenance needs and loving care to these stray and unwanted cats. Each cat is spayed/neutered before adoptions to prevent additional unwanted animals. Cats not adopted or deemed unadoptable are welcome to live out their lives in our no-kill, caring shelter.

The mission of Grateful Rescue, Inc is to prevent cruelty to animals by caring, training, fostering and connecting permanent placements in quality homes for previously hard to place dogs.

Ozark Freedom Drivers provides transportation to abandoned and abused animals to receiving rescues and adopters outside the state of Arkansas.

Leech Lake Legacy is a multi-faceted animal welfare organization that empowers residents of Indian reservations to enrich the lives of animals in their community by providing resources where needed. Leech Lake Legacy believes that by working together and collaborating with a larger network of animal welfare organizations in Minnesota, we will be able to do more for the animals and the pet owners of Leech Lake Reservation.

FFNC is dedicated to lowering shelter euthanasia rates for feral, stray, and community cats and kittens in Northern California by connecting shelters and community members to transportation, rescue, foster, adoption, and low-cost veterinary services.

PACT for Animalsis a champion of the Human-Animal Bond. PACT gives peace of mind to hospital patients and military personnel by placing their pets in temporary foster homes until their owners can be reunited with the companion animals they love.Every year, thousands of companion animals are surrendered into animal shelters due to temporary emergency crises. By providing access to vetted foster homes for animals until their human companions can be reunited, PACT reduces the number of animals in animal shelters and gives the owners peace of mind that their best friends will not be lost, abused, or euthanized.

The Parowan shelter is a no-kill facility. Our mission is to care for the well being of the dogs at the shelter. Our goal is to find responsible homes for all dogs.
