Critter Conscious serves to aid pets and their people by providing foster care to abandoned or relinquished animals, educational services, and resource information for pet parents and the public.

Hopeful Tails Animal Rescue is a non-profit, volunteer based organization in Joliet, Illinois. Hopeful Tails is proud to rescue dogs in danger of euthanasia, provide necessary veterinary care including spay and neuter, provide loving care in foster homes, and place dogs in permanent adoptive homes.

Lucky Dog Animal Rescue is dedicated to rescuing homeless and abandoned animals, primarily dogs, from high-kill shelters and owners who can no longer care for them. By working with committed volunteers, foster homes, local veterinarians, trainers, and boarding facilities, we are able to rescue hundreds of animals every year.

Friends of Detroit Animal Care and Control is committed to saving animals' lives, ensuring equal access to companion animals for those of all socio-economic levels, and raising the level of care for animals living in the city of Detroit. We work hand in hand with Detroit Animal Care and Control to help the homeless animals at DACC and proactively keep animals out of our shelter in the first place.

Rancho Coastal Humane Society (RCHS) was formed in 1960 by a group of hardworking volunteers, led by animal lover Maria K. Lloyd. The goal was and continues to be to care for the homeless animal population of San Diego County and to educate the public about pet overpopulation and responsible companion animal care. RCHS provides quality shelter care, adoption services, education programs and an animal safehouse program for the survivors of domestic violence. One of RCHS' main goals is the adoption of animals to permanent, loving homes. RCHS' adoption process is tailored to find the best match between pets and people. After finding the perfect match, we help prospective adopters learn about health care, nutrition requirements, grooming, exercise, responsible pet ownership, socialization and the importance of the human/animal bond.

The Humane Society of the North Bay provides shelter for animals who are lost, abandoned or are given up by families no longer able to care for them.We offer a second chance to adoptable animals and place them in loving, permanent homes. We also offer dog licenses and microchipping.

PAWS is dedicated to improving the lives of unwanted and abandoned dogs and cats. We strive to ensure that all adoptable animals are given an opportunity for a loving, forever home. Our goal is to reduce pet over-population and to educate and assist the community on responsible pet care.

Our mission is to reduce the number of adoptable animals that are euthanized in overcrowded shelters restore them to good health if need be and through adoption, provide them permanent loving homes.

Our not for profit shelter is the only no-kill facility in a multi-county area for cats and dogs. A large number of the animals we take in are from county facilities. Many of these are seniors, large breed dogs, Pit-Bull mixes all of which will remain under our care until they receive a forever home. Our focus is adoption, spay-neuter, community education, ending euthanasia and fund-raising to enhance the health of our animals.

AGR Foundation, Inc. DBA Sol Dog Lodge and Training Center and DBA Hearts at Ease, (Sol Dog)is a 501(c)(3) non-profit that gives dogs, of all breeds that may be vulnerable, a place where their needs are met with loving kindness and the highest professional standards. We do this by providing boarding, respite care for dogs when owners are in crisis, training, day camp and other services to the public and rescues to keep dogs out of the shelter.

We work hard to provide a better life for adoptable companion animals without homes and place them in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing an animal into their homes and lives.

We are a non-profit that helps unwanted pets and strays find there Furever homes. We get all the animals that come in to us the medical care they will need before going to their furever home too.

Smiley Tails Rescue is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization founded in 2019 by three crazydog ladies who share the same passion and vision for ending the homeless animal problem in Southern California. We re-home dogs of all ages and breeds from high-kill shelters and high-risk situations. We have a strict screening process that involves thorough applications, interviews, and home checks. Smiley Tails is foster based, volunteer run and donor funded. All donations go towards spay/neuter, vaccinations, microchips, veterinary and surgical care and training. We offer appointment-based adoptions in addition to our monthly adoption events. Our vision is to Clear the Shelters until there is not one animal left without a home to call their own.
