Central Arkansas Rescue Transport (CART) facilitates transport of at-risk animals out of Arkansas. CART partners with local rescues and shelters to expedite movement of these animals to rescues and shelters in states where there is greater demand for adoptable pets. The Arkansas Rescue Transport Coalition was formed in early 2023 to collaborate and share opportunities to transport rescue animals; this partnership, composed of six Arkansas organizations and managed by CART, significantly expands capacity to save animal lives through transport.

We are a foster-based small animal rescue group. All of the animals in our care are immediately placed into foster homes until their perfect match can be found. Our founder has nearly 30 years experience training dogs and other animals. Through her work as a professional trainer, she has gained a special understanding of the human/dog dynamic. We strive to rescue and rehabilitate as many pets as possible. Our focus is on pairing the right pet in with the right home.

Saffyre Sanctuary is a rescue and rehabilitation program that cares for horses that have been abandoned, abused, or neglected. We also give horses an opportunity for a second career or a well deserved retirement, due to soundness issues, age, or owner hardships.

The Animal Care Society is a private No-Kill adoption agency whose purpose is to find new, safe, and loving forever homes for adoptable dogs and cats.

The purpose of Hands to Paws is to initiate and support programs that extend and elevate the standards of compassionate care for companion animals in the CSRA by providing educational programs as well as direct care and cooperative efforts in increasing access to low-cost spay/neuter, rescue, fostering and adoption of animals in need.

Founded in 1976, the Humane Society of Lake County is a no-kill shelter with the responsibility to operate for the advancement of the humane treatment and the prevention of cruelty to animals.

Beyond Nine Cat Rescue, Inc is a 501 (c)(3), all volunteer, non-profit organization comprised of individuals dedicated to giving all cats the opportunity to live safe, healthy and happy lives. Educating the Public about the humane treatment of all animals and the importance of sterilizing their pets is a priority for our organization.
