Kojak is a genuinely nice dog to have around. He is friendly, engaging and loves getting attention from his caregivers. He has done well with all the dogs he's met at the Sanctuary and would likely be equally happy either in a home with other dogs, or being the only dog. He walks beautifully on his leash and is learning training cues such as "sit,? go to your "place,? and "wait? (for a food bowl). Kojak sometimes has handling issues and may get grumpy if strangers try to go too fast; he just needs new people to go a little bit slowly with him. Born in 2013, he came to Best Friends from a rescue organization in Texas that was closing its doors, and he would love to discover the joys of his very own home.
