Say hello to Riley the Wombat, a loving and sweet 8-year-old female brown and white tabby cat. Riley the Wombat is friendly and affectionate, she takes about two weeks to adjust and settle into her new surroundings. She's lived with children but hasn't had experience with other cats or dogs. Riley the Wombat is a quiet lap cat who enjoys lounging around like a true couch potato. Independent and a bit solitary, she prefers contact on her terms and enjoys watching the world from afar. Her favorite spots are the bedroom, the living room, or gazing out the window. She is food motivated, and loves treats.

Although she's mostly laid-back, Riley the Wombat has a playful side and loves to chase and pounce on toys - and sometimes on feet! She uses a variety of scratching posts, including rough rope, carpet, fabric, cardboard, and vertical surfaces. Her fosters say her favorite things are playing with her rainbow wand toy, coming for pets ( especially behind her ears). She comes to meet them and greet them at the door. She loves Churu treats and loves to play. When she gets excited her tail shakes and she dances with her back feet, very cute. She also flops over onto her side and rolls around in an endearing way. She enjoys being brushed, and likes to sleep cuddled up by your side.

Riley the Wombat is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has been given preventative treatments to ensure she's healthy and ready for her new home.
