Rainbow is a more reserved scarlet macaw with a calm demeanor. He will inch closer to you if he likes you and lets you know if he's uncomfortable by backing away. With his wing/leg arthritis, we think he might be in his 30's-40's. With time, Rainbow will slowly come out of his cage and gently accept treats and head scratches.
