2022 Best Friends National Conference speaking proposals
Thank you for your interest in speaking at the Best Friends National Conference. More than 950 dogs and cats are dying every day in our nation’s animal shelters just because they don’t have safe places to call home. By working collaboratively with shelters, other animal welfare organizations and entire communities, our goal is to make the country no-kill by 2025.
The Best Friends National Conference brings together animal welfare leaders from around the country to share information on how to reach that goal. In 2022, the conference will take place July 7-9 in Raleigh, North Carolina. We are building the conference schedule to feature a wide variety of topics, such as ways to increase live outcomes for cats and dogs, community-supported sheltering, fundraising through social media, community cat programs, breed-specific legislation and much more.
At this time, the deadline to submit a speaking proposal has passed. If you submitted a proposal, we hope to have decisions made and communicated via email by mid-December. Visit our speaker submissions information page for more details on speaking at the conference.
Missed the deadline? We hope you'll consider joining us as a conference attendee. Sign up here to receive updates on all things Conference!
