Bella is currently in foster care and ready for adoption via our virtual process! Bella is a nine-month-old female mixed breed dog weighing almost 35 lbs. with a mostly white coat and cute black spots that give her a unique, one-of-a-kind look. This playful pup loves exploring, making new friends, and learning about the world around her. Here’s what we know so far about her time in foster care: https://acrobat.adobe.com/id/urn:aaid:sc:VA6C2:75c13326-af18-4883-8e51-… Her walker said "Bella is the sweetest dog. She would be perfect for a young couple or a family. She is curious, playful and nice to other dogs, children and adults. She walks well and doesn’t pull when she walks and she checks in every 10 minutes for a hug!" She settled in nicely at foster. "Bella is the sweetest playful girl. She is playful but will melt in your couch as soon as you starting petting her becoming your couch companion. Bella loves cuddles. She will play and come to cuddle or kiss every few mins." Bella is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and has had preventative treatments to ensure she is ready for her next steps. Submit an adoption survey from above and our team will reach out via phone or email (check spam) to schedule a counseling call. For any additional questions, please contact fosternyc@bestfriends.org. About Best Friends Animal Society

Best Friends is working to end the killing of dogs and cats in U.S. shelters in part by getting more pets out of shelters and into loving homes.

We’ve come a long way since the first known city reached no-kill in 1994, and now we’re closer than ever to making the entire country no-kill. Of the roughly 3,900 shelters operating in America today, 1,300 of them are not yet no-kill, but nearly half are close with 100 or fewer additional pets to be saved, and we know what to do to get them there.

Best Friends is committed to working with passionate people like you to save homeless pets through adoption, volunteering, fostering, and advocacy. In addition to our lifesaving centers around the U.S, we also founded and run the nation's largest no-kill sanctuary for companion animals.

Working together, we can save homeless pets in our communities and secure a better future for our best friends. Together, we will bring the whole country to no-kill.
