From Alaska Native Rural Veterinary, Inc.
Alaska Native Rural Veterinary, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit veterinary outreach organization. It was created to offer free services to under-served rural Alaskan communities, where economics and vast remoteness make regular veterinary care inaccessible.Routine access to veterinary care and spay/neuter service is not available in much of rural Alaska. This has a negative effect on the health of the people, animals and communities across the state. ANRV works with communities, tribes, tribal health organizations, local rescues and individuals to bring needed veterinary care to remote/isolated areas of Alaska.
