The purpose of Central Arkansas Rescue Transport Co., also known as CART, is to facilitate transport of homeless and/or rescued animals to northern states, reducing overpopulation in Arkansas. CART partners with local rescues and shelters to ensure at-risk pets are properly prepared for transportation and adoption, and expedite movement of these animals to rescues and shelters in states where there is greater demand for adoptable pets.
