To raise funds and awareness to save, protect and advance the lives of the animals of Washington County, TN.To serve as an active resource and model for the education, promotion and implementation of effective and measurable Spay and Neuter, and Adoption Programs to end cruelty and euthanasia of all animals in our area and beyond.

Pets for U.S. Heroes offers the support, companionship and therapeutic benefits provided by the adoption of homeless dogs and cats to veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, paramedics, first responders and others working in high stress occupations. The organization's vision is twofold: 1) Offer the beneficial qualities of adopted companion animals to those in strenuous occupations. 2) Reduce the number of homeless animals by providing loving homes. The charity expects to better their quality of life and provide permanent homes. Pets for U.S. Heroes aims to improve the adopters overall mental and physical health and demonstrate a reduction in stress levels. The outcome will provide a higher quality of life, allowing robust social and familial relations, improved work performance and the ability to participate as active community members.

RescueConnect was started to help the overwhelming number of homeless beagles and bassets in North and South Carolina. We have expanded to provide assistance to homeless cats and to include a wider range of breeds. We support cats by helping locals with TNR efforts and placing cats deemed socialized after trapping into homes through adoption. As we have gained cat fosters, we have been able to provide assistance to shelters across North Carolina.

The Mercer County Humane Society focuses its efforts toward providing spay/neuter assistance to the community as well as emergency veterinary support. We also provide food assistance for the Mercer County Animal Shelter.We transport animals from our area to rescue groups on the east coast. These animals come from either our local shelter or from our foster base.

Dog Rescue R Us is a foster based rescue that will eventually have a facility. We are continually saving the voiceless and fully vetting them to go to FOREVER!With our ministry being led by the Holy Spirit, we are saving approximately 350-450 dogs a month (some cats too)!We have our own transport means as well!We are working also on changing the whole system in West Texas!We could not do this without putting God first!

No Paws Left Behind Kitty Rescue is dedicated in helping as many CatsKittens as we can. We have focused ourselves on trying to keep senior pets with their owners. We also focus on TNR to control the pet population and have many cats and now kittens in foster homes awaiting adoption. We also pull senior cats as well as kittens from our local shelter and provide all medical care and services.

Animal Loving Friends (ALF) is based in Tempe, Arizona. We are an all-volunteer 501(c)3 organization who provides TNR (trap, neuter, return), and life-long care of feral and community cats. We serve as an advocate for the ferals, and a link to the rescue community. The mission of Animal Loving Friends is to provide assistance to free-roaming and unwanted animals, and end overpopulation.

We are a sanctuary--a 2,000 square foot house--with a full-time live-in caregiver for senior dogs (age 10 or older) who have not found homes through shelters or rescue groups. We have sometimes adopted out, but mostly we provide rest-of-their-life care for old dogs who are often regarded as a bit too infirm or too expensive to be good candidates. Like Best Friends, if we cannot find the proper home, we provide safe and loving surroundings, no crates or kennels but plenty of beds and couches, for the rest of their lives.

The Ontario Rescue is a 100% no kill, non profit organization dedicated to preventing animal cruelty and neglect. This organization works tediously in preventing animal abuse, neglect and homelessness. We are the voice for the animals that suffer everyday, and take pride in providing food, shelter and finding forever loving homes for them. It takes a village to run a rescue and The Ontario Rescue is aiming to be the leaders in this industry.

Meows and Mutts is a cat and kitten rescue organization located in Mobile, Alabama. Our primary mission is to rescue animals from our community who are in need of placement as orphans, owner surrenders, and shelter occupants. All of our animals are fully vetted before adoption and we thrive on the partnership of northern rescues who accept transports to allow us the capacity to take in more animals.
