Male Shepherd / Mixed named Higgins available for adoption

Higgins loves everybody. He has had several groups of Dogtown volunteers socialize with him both in his room and on walks, and he has been fabulous with them all. Born in 2017, he'll make both a great jogging buddy and cuddle bug. He knows the training cues 'sit,' 'down,' and 'shake.' He does well in the car, willingly hopping in and staying calm and quiet for the entire ride. Higgins can be a little bit jumpy and mouthy and will grab clothes when he's excited. He's had two cat tests, and he would not do well with outdoor, roaming cats. He could possibly live with indoor cats, but the interaction should be supervised, and the cats should have an area to escape to that Higgins can't access. He's done well with all the dogs he's met at the Sanctuary. At Dogtown, he is currently working on keeping all four feet on the floor when he's excited and on learning how to 'wait' patiently.
