Give pets a chance to find a home

Healthy, treatable pets deserve a chance at life and finding their home. Colorado House Bill 24-1114 will help.

House Bill 24-1114 would require animal shelters to notify other rescues and shelters of healthy animals currently on their euthanasia list, and allow those other shelters and rescues to pull those animals to help find them a home.

This legislation would greatly reduce the unnecessary killing of pets in our animal shelters due to space or resources.
