Ask the California Senate to support Assembly Bill 2248.

California Assembly Bill 2248 would increase transparency and accountability in pet sales, protecting pets and families along the way.

AB 2248 prevents pet stores and individual sellers from collecting nonrefundable deposits. It also requires these sellers to disclose the original source of the dog or cat being purchased (too often an out-of-state puppy or kitten mill).

TAKE ACTION: Ask your members of the California Senate to support AB 2248. Send your personalized message now.
