UT: Save cats in Utah County!

Urge your city to stop impounding healthy outdoor cats.

Right now, Utah County has the highest euthanasia rate in the entire state of Utah, largely because the cities in the North Utah Valley Animal Services (NUVAS) and South Utah Valley Animal Services (SUVAS) special service districts trap, impound, and kill healthy and treatable cats at alarming rates.

Trap and remove is ineffective population management and only wastes taxpayer dollars and officer time.

TAKE ACTION: Ask your city and county leaders to invest in more humane and cost-effective options.
